If you were to purchase 4 single-shot rifles, what calibres would you choose?

Single Shots

I've got only 2 single shots now....

A Ruger #1 in .243 Win; and a TC Pro Hunter in .280 Rem [although I do have a couple spare barrels in other ctgs for for the TC].

Not sure I "need" another single shot, although if the right one came along.....lol.....

I have always been intrigued by the TC's. There's one on EE, and Weiss had several new barrels for sale--his YouTube videos are superb btw.

I use to have 4 single shot, 3 Ruger no1 and one cooey 22lr! Now I have only one Ruger no1 RSI 7x57! But I will get an other single shot when I have sold enough firearms to fund it, a Bradshaw rotary action 7x65r!!
I wish my no1 was In a rimmed cartridge… maybe I should trade it for a 303brit or a 30-40krag!!

Only four!! I'd pick:

45-90 Shiloh for long range
40-65 Shiloh for Silhouette
32-40 Winchester 1885 for schuetzen off hand & bench rest
30-40 Winchester 1885 just because.

I'll try. Change my mind.

Just had to throw the last one in. Getting up into Northern trip calibers, $2500+ return in fuel and ferries. Really doubt I'm taking a small caliber or a single shot. So might just as well choose a toy....with a three foot fireball at dusk for the win
