I'll never buy a Glock

ugh hard to describe, It's probably different for everybody. But grab one metal pistol, say a Sig then grab a Glock. You will notice the difference right away. This feeling is not as pronounced in the P30, maybe because it is heavier and has more metal components. I do not know, it feels solid / built like a tank, yes it is plastic too, but it is not the same.

What does a polymer gun feel like exactly?

So you now going to change your avatar to GLOCK :)

bought a glock 21 gen 4 usa from reliable 3 weeks ago , took it to the range with 5 mags 250 rounds and I got 2 failure to feeds and 4 double feeds, that's 2 bullets one with the casing bent the other jammed in the barrel bent. just an awefull pistol, I must have a lemon as ive shot thousands of rounds thru friends glocks and I don't limp wrist . all realiable did was look at the slide and say well shoot it but most glock problems are from limp wristing, wrongggggggggggggggggg . its the ####ing recoil spring and the extractor. so far I got a brass catcher rachis recoil spring kit that I just put on and ill wait for a lone wolf extractor. worst pistol ive ever fired. I ran hornandy plus p blazer brass and Winchester white box so not the ammo

Bummer, I hope this clears up for you. Fortunately you have had good experiences with other Glocks. I did read of someone having similar problems and a Glock technician recommended loading up the mags and putting them on a shelf for a week or two. Often feed problems are more related to the mag springs than anything else. I imagine it is not isolated to Glocks. In any case, this fixed the poster's issues. Give it a try if you care to. This assumes you are using brand new mags. I suppose you could also swap mags with one of your budddies to see if the problem follows the mags or stays with your gun. Regardless, good luck, hope it subsides!

It won't rust like a steel one either.

True, however letting a gun rust, just so you can tell if it is steel or not, is a little harsh...I would rather put it in the freezer and then lick it. :) That way, it if is steel, you just keep your tongue on it until it gets slippy, then remove your tongue and let the gun warm up. In your test method, you now have a rusty gun :(

The Gen 4 issues have been put to bed long ago.. mine is a gen 4 bought over a year ago and just absolutely reliable..

This^^^^^^^

Yours is. Good for You.
There are many reports from the last year and even this year about the issues with Gen 4 9mm models.
Obviously it's on-going process.
We are talking this:

...but also brass to the face.

Old video. His Glock still has the old ejector and dipped extractor. I'm guessing he still has an old RSA too. If you watch the video closely, even with the aftermarket RSA he's still getting very erattic ejections and most of them are straight back.
