Im Broke AR build.

Just ordered an Aero stripped upper from Brownells for 72$. And looking at a spikes lower from Questar for 169. I dont like the Aero logo so spikes the next cheapest option.

Timbertec im looking at a 11.5 barrel. But thanks for the offer. ..

One of the dealers, can't remember who, has STI lowers for $125. That's the cheapest I've ever heard for a forged lower.

No idea what the logo looks like, they don't show it on the website. IMO Spike's has one of the ugliest logos out there, wouldn't stop me from buying it if the price was cheap enough.

Given the hoops to be jumped through for export of controlled items, wouldn't it make sense to lump all the Brownells stuff into one order?

Midwest industries make descent cheaper handguards, look really good. I think blue line have cheap lowers too but not sure of there logo.

The strip bolt doesn't require export permits. The strip upper requires export permits so I had to cancel my order.

Just waiting until next payday to order my YHM rail .

Just sent freedom Ventures an email about the STI Matched Upper and Lower for 248$.

I just completed a build with the same Spike's lower. Very happy with it, quality and price wise I figure it is hard to beat.

Thats what I used on my last build. wanted to spend 1000$... lol ....

Why cancel the order? The price is excellent and Brownell's is more than happy to walk you through the process. I believe they only add 3% to the order, still a lot cheaper than any upper you're bound to find up here.

Last time I did export paperwork I was told they couldn't ship First class mail so the barrel ended up costing the same and I had to wait almost 6 weeks to get it. And the best part about Priority is the Taxes and Customs that always get tacked on.

Ill save on shipping From Freedom Ventures and its only 40$ more For the matched upper and lower . so I dont see the need to go thru all of that paperwork and waiting game.

The STI's are def a sweet price for a matched set.

I've seen a couple 11.5" S&J's on the EE.

Since you have the trigger already, what I'd do is order the individual completion parts or LCP as I call it from Wolverine.
You'd have to figure out every pin and spring you need, but they have it all. That's what I did. Cost about $75 before tax and shipping.
Didn't want to spend $20ish more for an LPK then have low end spare parts I'll never use, and won't even move on the EE cause it's the same crap everyone else is trying to get rid of when the upgrade their trigger.

Hell, I still have the LCP list on file from when I sorted that all out.

NEA stripped lowers are on for $125 at SFRC, if I hadn't already spent my christmas money from the missus i'd snag one :(

They aren't blemished, I put that by mistake...was cutting and pasting from the last Blem lower sale I did.

It's an NEA Christmas special for lowers...nothing wrong with them...they look great.
