Fair enough but I know my SP shoots anything I feed it anytime and I can shoot it so....

Waterfowler,

Like yours, mine always works. Mine is nicknamed "The Cannon". Mine is the wood stocked version, and I kind of like the way my Cannon looks.

when my boys come home, they always want to shoot the SP-10.

I have a Bps 10 and love it , workhorse , always goes bang and recoil is never an issue when shooting at critters . My buddy has an old sp-10 and other than a couple recoil springs over the last 10 years or so has worked flawless for him . I have had clients with the nice new browning golds has feeding issues in the blind . I would have to say mainly from being dirty . This is where the bps shines especially in potato fields where there is mud everywhere .

You are bang with respect to keeping them brownings clean also the newer ones with the light weight design seem to have feeding issues. I have never had one of those to try to see why. Both of mine are the original heavier steel receiver design.
I have been goose hunting over your way since 1979, been so so the last few years due to how warm it has been I think.Hunted at first with most outfitters over there but now when the boys go we try to go with a good friend who lives in lot 16 and is one hell of a caller and guide. I am sure you know who I mean his brother lives in the same area you noted on your profile and is one great taxidermist. In fact I seen my 1st sp-10 over pei and the next year I had to have one. take care:)
