I'm stuck, ACR vs XCR Help!

Acr with Havoc, sorry poor photo, I'll take more

This gun has undergone minor mods since this pic.
Geissle super ACR trigger, GG&G rail adapter to bring the launcher up tight to the magwell, & an Elcan Specter 1-4x
I'm currently in contact with Herron Arms for the accurizing of action & non restricted barrels in 5.56 NATO & 300Blk
When I bought this I knew I would want to use the multi caliber feature for target & hunting. I figured I could buy one gun multi cal. & put a few grand into it v.s. A few grand each into a few different calibre guns
Varmint to moose with one gun

I know you said that you're not hot on the idea of an SL-8, but this G-36 conversion (accepts mags and USGI ) is an awseome rifle for the price...I would take that over an ACR or XCR any day.. The camo comes of pretty easy if you're not into that look, and the only other thing I would do is thread the barrel and put a nice muzzle break on it.

Didn't you sell yours?

Yeah, the SPF one was mine actually. I do most of my shooting at Valcatraz so I wasn't taking advantage of the NR goodness. If I ever need an AR style NR again I will go with the ATRS modern Varminter in .223 or 6.8 or .300 Blackout because DI.

I am spoiled by my AR's so I had a few beefs regarding the ACR: I dislike the derpy safety selector, the weight, Shrubmaster's inability to produce the parts and accessories they have been promising for years, the lack of aftermarket parts and the thickness of the hand guard. Of course, I dislike Shrubmaster as entity in general but my ACR in particular worked very well so I will give that sorry lot the kudos they deserve for it. I also found the controls to be very convenient, especially for a lefty.

300blk for moose?, I considered it but I went with the 450 conversion instead because of knock down power

Does the launcher add a ton of weight?

I wouldn't say the launcher adds a "ton" of weight but it does add weight forward, but still within my comfort zone.
As a said earlier I'm a short guy but find this gun works for me. It's when the newcon laser, bipod, launcher are on it starts to get a little ridiculous

Lol fair enough. Ill keep my eye out for a good deal. Retail prices are a bit steep atm

I'm going to print those pictures and present them to my boss as an argument for why I need a raise. Beautiful rifle.

Damn you and your havok pics. I want one! Shooting flares out of that thing must be a blast!!!

I'm not sure how this is even a serious question.
Having owned both, I can solidly say the acr is better in every category except price.

and availability...

does anyone have an update on when the acr dmr will be available (or if ever)

Never looked at an acr due to the restricted classification. But a non restricted acr that would be interesting, have to try and put some rounds down range on one......have to go to range more and be a stalker.....
oh wait reality kicks in need a ton of cash to buy gun and barrel to modify....... it was a nice thought for awhile......
