I had one, new, never fired it. Really liked the feel in hand, mag release was at a good place.
For a 300-ish gun is great in my view.
Only sold because I got too many other guns after it. And I started to lean towards full metal guns only.
but for the money and what it is, SD9VE is good.
just don't invest double the price to make a cheap gun some better gun ... if you want to make it better, just buy a better gun, it's cheaper at the end and you will have a real better gun

I have an SD9VE and it's not that bad. Has a nice kick!
Comes with two mags so that's a plus. No jams or issues at all.
Trigger I see super long but that's where all the safety is built in.
It's a tough pull so if you're 40+ then get the kit.
Easy to take apart, clean and put together. Can do it with your eyes closed.
Eats all ammo without issue. Dirt cheap.
