is fulton having those made in US or are they a offshore deal..... like wayne manuf , Red white and blue , or there is some others..... wonder if Lee knows.... he knows everything hehehe

From what i found on TFL from Lee, looks life the FA bolts are forged in pennsylvania, and machined in conneticut. So not an overseas thing

Keep in mind, complete breech (bolt) assemblies are controlled like receivers, barrels and cylinders. Stripped bolts are not.

like i said..... the only two ways i know of right now to legally aquire a genuine m14 bolt
the EE here , either the parts exchange or the very odd time a 12(3) rifle will pop and up and you'll be lucky enough to fork out big coin to get the parts hehehe, or buy a chinese rifle with the internals already the way you like em. (might be letting such an item go.... have a keeper parts kit on the way so might move a all g.i. dressed rifle soon
)or import a M1a type platform from the u.s. that again, already has the goodies you want on board......

Not too unreasonable. I just sold an M14S shorty in a Troy MCS with GI bolt, oprod, gas system and trigger group internals for $1900 with goodies.
It certainly cost more than that to build it
Ppl are geenralyl not usualyl willing to pay the full worth of a gun once the price gets much over $1500 in my experience as the pool of potential buyers drops dramatically.

bearing in mind that as a business i do not sell rifles, and this is not an ee add LOL and these rifles from my personal collection, are not actually for sale at this time, though i have mentioned them to a few select folks by p.m.
, one all g.i. with a krieger dmr barrel..... probably pushin 3000.00 and an all H&R , walnut stocked all traditional, that i wouldn't take a penny under 2500 for . these aren't just mashed together rifles though, parts were selected and fitted until i was happy that they were proven shooters. Compared to prices of box stock and upgraded springfield m1a's the above "ballpark" pricing looks pretty good.By definition but there are exceptions. My 2001 M1A came from the Geneseo factory with a TRW bolt and HRA oprod. SAI always used some USGI parts but progressively less over the last 30 years.
Long story short, when you see a used M1A, inspect it (or ask picture of the markings on the web). With some luck it will come with USGI parts and the owner won't even know.
