I just wanted to give a shout out to any who are wondering how to reduce the nastiness of the Marlin 795/60 trigger pull. There is a gent in the USA with the name of MCARBO who offers a spring kit to reduce trigger pull without messing with the functions of the semi-auto. I purchased from him for around $25.
I believe that most people are easily able to do the spring swap-out by themselves. I found out that I am not one of them....
So back to MCARBO went my trigger unit and lower. For $20 he did the installation (shipped). He has a Youtube video. He is also a sponsor on another "Rimfire Central type forum".
I do not have a pull gauge, but would estimate that my pull was reduced 50%. The rifle had no difficulty passing the safety test. Give him a shout- it's a cheap and effective improvement on an excellent rifle. Now if only somebody could come up with a RELIABLE 30 round magazine.
