Hey guys,
Last year when I bought my first batch of things to start reloading I got IMR 3031 powder. I intially loaded a couple of .270 rounds with 150gr bullets. It seemed to work fine but I was later told on here that 3031 was too fast burning for .270. I was on the IMR website and under 3031's description it mentioned that it was a long time favorite of .308 shooters so I decided to make a batch of .308 rounds using the 3031 and 180gr bullets. Does this sound like a good combination? Also, if not 3031, what powder do you guys recommend for the .270 with a 150gr bullet?
Thanks in advance,
Jake
