More or less. They will fit if you buy a AK base and bolt it onto the optic. However then that same optic will be sitting further forward then what is pictured.

My plan was to get a surplus PSO or something with the Simonov style reticle with the 400m rangefinder. The NPZ one will work fine enough for this bullet hose.

The mount is what screws into the side of the receiver so you can attach your scope. Both mount and optic are supplied when chosen from drop-down box for 499

Probably because theyve produced many times more 30 rounders with a much higher demand for them. Simple supply and demand.

It would be pretty sweet if TI did them in x54r and .308 at that.

That is too difficult to rechamber to 54r. It is Totally different system, needs open up the bolt face dimension as well.

Impossible. Trunnion and bolt do not have enough meat for the large cartridge recoil

The Type 81 Wiki does list a LR14 / 762x51 version, but god knows what the differences in parts are. I'll be cautiously optimistic and say "unlikely" rather than impossible.

I'm with you �� Wasn't planning on buying anything else pricey this year ($2500 all in) and this came up and I had to. Looks so sleek and it's everything I'm after, a caliber I have lots of, scoped from the factory and a semi-auto! Had to get one before they get sold out like the other T81s that lasted what 48H ? Plus it's the best one for me as the other ones are difficult to scope ..

For a bipod btw I think you'd have to drill into the front handguard as there doesn't seem to be a swing swivel there you could use to mount one on. I'm going to leave mine stock, the ad mentions the long flat handguard is to help stabilizing it on a surface.
