18132 still not shipped yet :/
Ordered on 28th and CFO message on 30th.

Excuse my ignorance of how the new "not a registry" is now set up, as I haven't bought any NR's since then.

Are you saying that the CFO is now supposed to contact me with their blessings before this can even proceed?

If that is the case, I haven't heard from them yet and my order was placed on the 3-rd.
Is there any reason to be concerned?

Dang. They did me dirty and shipped the scope separately. I was all excited going to the PO today only to find out it was the scope only. Big sad.

With the new non restricted not a registry thing we don't have to notify the seller that the RC's have issued a reference number do we?

This is not a formal registry, but the store will be required to keep a transaction record about who bought what and when.
CFO can check it anytime once they requested.

The difference between the restricted and NR is, restricted need to be approved by CFO but NR only need to inform them. As long as you get a message from CFO that means you're good to go.

Rifle and scope scheduled to arrive today.

No dice. Got my scope tho!

Looks good! It oozes Soviet era goodness.

Took tomorrow off work to wait for the rifle.

So in which form does this message from CFO usually manifest itself?
Do they call me, do they email me or do they send me some kind of a letter?
And how long does that usually take?
I got the "were processing your order" message on Oct 5-th, but heard nothing since then...

In my mind, "processing" = wrapping the items in a box and placing it on the "to be picked dropped off at the post office" pile?

Sorry for all the questions...just trying to figure exactly what role does the CFO play here and what seems to be the timeline, upon which our crime crushing overlords bless this transaction into fruition?
My order was made on Oct 3-rd...

If you check your email which registered in the CFO system, you should received a message from them by now. Or login into the CFO system to check your messages.
Only email or system message, no call no hard copy letter.
I just got the delivery notice card in my mailbox. You can expect it to arrive by this week I believe.

Just check the mailbox, got the notice card. Will pick it up tomorrow! It’s weird that canadapost didn’t send shipment notification. As they usually send if I got a shipment incoming/outgoing.
