I think the design of the T97 should take a potential kB into account... not sure how, but I trust the Chinese to design it properly.
I have never heard of the rfb or t97 going kaboom, but I did read 2 story about a fs2000 blowing up.RFB - I felt safe because of the massive amounts of metal between my face and the chamber.
On my FS2000.... I have NO idea where that force would go if I had a kB... my cheek is touching the little toilet seat cover, so hoping the blast doesn't go UP!

The barrel/chamber is plastic?
Thoughts? Yeah, but I should keep them to myself.
Please sell all your guns and leave.
Ever heard of an out of battery discharge? You know, where the round isn't properly in the chamber? Hence nothing but plastic guarding your face.
The is actually about a 1.5" long section of the steel receiver on the left hand side that reduces the damage of such a detonation. As such, the majority of the force would be blasted out the right side and down through the magazine well.
My t97 never misfeeds. There are no reports of bullets getting punched in by impacting the magwell. It isn't possible that a mangled round could wedge partway in chamber and then detonate. A punched in bullet could never result in a squib round and squib rounds never cause guns to blow up.
Really, what could go wrong?

Obviously we need an official CGN Mythbuster. Someone blow up their T97 on purpose.
Lol seriously. Everyone pitch in 5 bucks, get a trustworthy member to buy the gun. Jam something in the bore and shoot it with a string.
