if you have a deposit, then one is yours. We have enough coming to cover all orders with deposits. We are hoping for late next week, but it could be early the week after with transport companies a bit unpredictable lately

lol still have my first batch in Canada Ruger/Marlin SBL!!! Amazing gun and most wouldn’t have given a preorder and at actual price not marked up!!!

Between when I paid the $650 deposit two weeks ago and today I’ve gotten two in stock emails from other retailers who had it for $100 and $50 cheaper with free and $37 shipping, respectively. I’d have the gun by now and would have saved $137+tax if I didn’t preorder. Oh well, live and learn.

I am in the same boat as you, also got a sporadic in-stock notification from another retailer for $100 cheaper and free shipping, but I decided to pass on those guys. Mainly because I asked them about their wait list like a week prior and they told me they had 115 people on the wait list ahead of me, and that it would be "many months" till I got one. I felt like they just didn't want my business. And given that I am planning on keeping this rifle for a good long time I figured what's an extra 5% on the purchase price to support a retailer who actually wants my business by offering to pre-allocate the supply they know they will be getting instead of playing a mad dash to punch my info into an online order field faster than some other guy.
