I appreciate knowing that now. Had I known, I may have gone that route. I assumed the "non-refundable deposit" listed on my order meant just that. This is not a knock on your company or service, I've ordered from you in the past and have been happy.

I appreciate that. I think Prophet River has a great reputation for a reason, and obviously has a lot of support from many of the longtime members here on CGN. This is more a criticism of preorders. I'll be avoiding any preorders in the future, regardless of retailer.

100%….a companies effort/service often makes the difference of a sale(s) or not….companies that put forth effort/communication earn and maintain loyal customers…. lucky for them there’s items/times like this that it doesn’t really matter, but customers talk/remember.

Guys wont be scalping them anymore when every dealer has them in stock. No different than primers, once everyone had them again those guys that paid inflated prices and then tried to flip them are stuck with them now and will have to sell them for a loss.

Nice to see a few dealers have the Marlins again.

Only ones I'm still worried about being scalped are the Dark series in any caliber lol. Have seen multiple sell in the 4k range this month alone.

Saw a couple darks (30-30) listed yesterday morning…went quick of course, but seems like different models showing up more and more frequently ….I’ll pay hundred or two extra if it means getting what I want in a timely fashion w/o hassle(s), but beyond that, I doubt there’ll be many takers on guys getting too greasy….so them pricing that ridiculous just means they’ll probably keep them😁
