Info needed on SKS bipod

I thought of that or maybe JB Weld? I figure I'll need to fill it pretty good to get enough support to handle the repeated recoil on the swivel stud and get good bonding. Might rough it up a bit inside with a dremmel to get a good rough surface. I suppose the exposed filler in the bayo slot could just get a coat of black paint. Might add some weight to the front end but who cares? It's on a bipod:D
Couldn't mount the bayo in the closed position anymore even without the bipod so it's either sans bayonet or full charge:ar15:

JB Weld is considerably stronger than the auto body filler. Other than Acraglass, there is a product from 'Solderit' that allegedly works on abs car parts. Probably better to sand the cutout, maybe vee it out a bit, and fill with JB weld (like you have already said). We all know JB Weld gives good repeatable results. :)

A guy I knew had one of the Norinco clamp-on bipods on his SKS. It was junk, pure and simple, and it scratched the hell out of his barrel. Avoid.

Get something to rig a Harris onto it.
