Considering the scernery at your workplace...Ralph's may or may not have been a step up. But I am curious...were there no better places to eat that day?

ok shipping to Dave is just as quick as shipping to AIM, so off to Dave it goes tomorrow.
also WarrenZ isn't going so Rob Elliot and I have a spare bed if anyone wants to share a room/car. otherwise I'll ship it to a 2 bed room.

we have room fo rone more in our room as well as our car if you're interested.

for the shotgun match, what distances are we looking at, and is 7 1/2 going to be enough for what ever we need it for? I've never shot a shotgun match, so I have no idea what we are using the various rounds for. some explanation would be cool.

Shot is for poppers and plates...slugs and SSG's are for paper.

a 7 1/2 full target load may be OK depending on your choke

My 590 has a fixed cylinder bore...so plates at 25 meter or over are a stretch with 7 1/2 but the guys using the turkey chokes litterally flip the plates end over end with the same ammo...

Same here. I use a standard 1 1/8oz. field load of #4

hmm gotta find some Remy 00 Buck the Winchester stuff Frank is selling won't cycle the shotgun I'm borrowing.

I dunno, it's an 1187 I think. somewhat tricked out, but with a bead sight, no ghost rings or anything like that.
I'd like to know a bit more about the courses of fire for the rifle and shotgun, so I can attempt to get some sort of rig put together to carry my ####.

if it is set up to handle 3 or 3.5 inch loads the gas port might need to be enlarged for 2 3/4 loads. i know one fellow had one for trap and it wouldn't cycle the trap loads. he drilled them out and no problems after that.

ok so what are we looking at for stage starts in rifle and shotgun? slung guns? guns in hand? guns on table? how big will the stages be? mix of different rounds? enquiring minds want to know what to expect.
