NavyShooter, yeah that was me. tore the #### out of my heel on my prep on range 5. I gotta give thanks to Carmine for all his help afterwards (if anyone can supply me with his mailing addy it would be appreciated), I'm still screwed, but he really went above and beyond helping me. I would also like to thank my squad for being so supportive and understanding after the injury. I could barely walk to shoot, so there was no patching or helping set steel or anything like that. My squad, including people that weren't shooting, really stepped up and helped out. you guys are all awesome, thanks thanks thanks. A big thanks to the RO's and CRO's for being understanding too. you guys have done an awesome job this week and I know today was already trying enough, having my limping ass too contend with couldn't have been easy. Also a big thanks to Rob Elliot, a better room mate I couldn't have. He stuck around after they were done shooting this morning and helped me out too. I owe a lot of people beers/shooters, or whatever you drink.
Now a bit of a negative. The actions displayed today by one particular shooter, stiring the pot, causing a massive ####storm was simply unacceptable. I seriously hope that our board of directors sees fit to have him at least DQ'd for unsportsmanlike conduct, and I think he should be sanctioned and not allowed to shoot IPSC for at least a year. If I was in charge it would be a lifetime ban. This particular shooter has caused #### and bad feelings at pretty much every match I've ever been too and is the single biggest negative influence I've ever seen in the shooting sports. Thanks to his selfishness and blatant stupidity we all suffered and lost a very cool stage as a result. Thanks ####### I hope people remember what you did vividly.
To Jim, Sean and everyone else involved with this match you have my thanks for a great match and my sympathies for what occured today.
