Good morning Gents,
I need your input into evaluating and appraising a few hand guns that I have recently inherited.
These are mine, they have have been passed along and given to me, however, I wish to give back to the family their current worth.
So I guess I am looking for your ballpark value. These are completely out of my area of expertise.
There is a Ruger P89 in 9mm. Looks to have very little use, no blemishes, very clean with a perfect bore. Appears to right out of the box.
A Ruger Mk.II with a bull barrel. I had to look very hard to find any markings or blemishes. Other than a couple of tiny
marks on the plastic grips, it is as new.

A nice little Taurus double action only revolver in 38 spl. Well used but not abused.

A tiny little Bernardini in .25 acp. Looks to be an unfinished project. The striker tip is chipped and the pistol has been
field stripped. However, the little dogbone shaped component that holds the striker spring etc is missing, which makes the
gun non functional. A pity really, because the little gun looks to be in very good condition.

And last, the prize of the group. A 1911 Colt in 45 ACP. By all accounts, this was used in competitive shooting. It has been tweaked by somebody who knew what they were doing. I can see a aftermarket beaver tail grip safety, a different hammer and a tricky rib attached to the slide. It appears to have some kind of facility for adjustment of the slide to the gun. (as I mention, not my area of expertise). The mag well has been chamfered and the trigger is very light with a crisp let off.
Obviously refinished, but very nice.

I have researched the value and have found similar examples sold recently, but stateside, so I have no idea as to Canadian value. I am hoping to get some input.
No clue as to what I will do with them at this point other than take them to the range and see how well they shoot. So I am not looking for 'wotsit-worth? resale value.
Thanks for looking.
