I posted this in the general firearms discussion section but i got no bites. I am seriously thinking of buying a Norinco 1887 clone that has a 28 inch barrel but unfortunately was made with a modified choke barrel. I am wanting to have a gun smith install choke tubes in this shotgun so i can have it be full choke. Is this something i should be doing or will the Chinese shotgun blow up in my face... I have heard a lot of negative stuff about them. But i really want an 1887 clone added to my rotation. I have the money in hand. The only thing stopping me is that the barrel is not full choke. I shoot crows and pidgins as well as hunt upland game. I rarely ever have a need to shoot steel shot and if i did i would be using my benelli. Thanks in advance
