Interest in Mossberg 590A1 14" or 14" 590A1 CYL/MOD Barrels imported by Irunguns?

They already have access to these barrels in the US.

Decision hasn't been made yet, according to Irunguns. Be patient and we'll have an answer soon.

If Irunguns can get this, i don't see why they wouldn't be able to get the 14" Mossberg, it's just a matter of time, class 3 firearms may take up to 3 months to be transfered dealer to dealer in the US.

Thanks to Waynetheman, I just found out this info from Mossberg regarding my 14 inch 590.

This model you have is model# P252916 and it was manufactured on July 08,1997 and its model#50686, M514 14B SP/FD STOCK PARKERIZED, It is a Class III model, which means is only permitted if you have this license. Mostly used for military, It is a 590 but named a 514 because of the barrel , It does not have the A1 stamped on it . But we know that is an A1 models because it has the heavy wall barrel, metal safety , and aluminum trigger assembly .

I must say, I don't get the almost mythical appeal this gun has. I had 2 of them in the late 90's, and sold them both later, and respectfully to the Mossberg guy, one DID have 590 A1 stamped on the receiver; it was one with metal trigger group and heavy walled barrel. My other one had plastic trigger group and a thinner barrel. Both had a strap on the pump and ghost ring sights. They both rattled pretty good. I prefer Rem870 14", but to each his own. Wish I still had them....to sell. They seem to have appreciated in price, dammit!

Would it not be easier to get a 20 inch replacement and once you have it you can do what you will with it length, sites, etc? Just wondering I know I wouldn't mind a spare myself. I know talking with S & J they were saying Mossberg is years behind in there parts is there any truth to that?

With Raptor grip, it come in at 26 and just under half inches.

A Mossgerg M590A1 factory 14" barrel, Ghost ring sights, SpeedFeed stock, in FLAWLESS Mint condition can EASILY fetch $1,000.00 ....EASILY. A NIB Mossy M590A1 14" is a VERY highly desirable combat shotgun...right next to the Benelli M4.
