Since the RCMP cannot classify it as restricted with an 18.5" barrel it will either be deemed an AR variant (which is my guess) or prohibited.

Really? I'd buy an XCR-M/RFB, nice optic and accessories before shelling out over $6,000 for this...

Seems fair, that $6K price tag is a deal breaker for most people.
