We do have one of the nicer facilities in the Maritimes, unfortunately we seem to have a hard time getting people out to use it. We've had a decent turnout at most of our shoots this year, however locally most people aren't aware we exist, as Secretary my biggest challenge the past couple of years has been to figure out the balance between maintaining what we do, promoting the club to the public and building towards it's future. Our last shoot had 45 people at it, however the Beretta Atlantic Sporting Clays Challenge I attended last saturday at the Fredericton Trap & Skeet had 140 some shooters, a low turnout for that shoot. The trend is definitely moving towards sporting clays and away from skeet & trap. I understand it, our current goal is to add Sporting Clays to the mix but to do so without offending the current membership and keeping operating labour requirements to a minimum.
