It will be sooner. They are finishing up in paint. Will start shipping later this week or next week.
You would need to go through them. Or you can get one of our H&S chassis, which has the same length fore end. You would need to mill out a little inside where the trigger sits, other than that it will fit perfectly!
H&S precision is a company that makes their own action, based on the Remington 700 footprint. So it is very similar.
We made the LSS chassis for it per request from a customer, and have a few extra. When gone, they are gone.
Just the fore end, and the fitting of the trigger. Any R700 action will fit. Please contact us directly if you are interested.
For the long calibers, few more weeks. Almost done!
Correct, the only difference on the chassis is the mag well.
So the Tikka will need a custom length magazine to work with the medium action, as the standard length (3.715) .300WM magazine is too long to work with this action.
Just suggestion, but for those out there wanting to use non-standard short action calibres in the Tikka-fit Tac21/LSS, rather than modifiying normal .308-fit AICS mags, there are some excellent custom mags available - for example I have a .300WSM T3 in a Tac21 chassis and I use Accurate Mags .300WSM-specific magazines, similarly this and other non standard calibres are also available form Alpha Industries, although in my experience (I also ave one of these) these aren't as good as the Accurate Mags products.
