Introducing our newest chassis: The MDT LSS (Light Sniper System)

I've replaced the buttstock of the .300blk

Nice! I really like the look of it with that buttstock.

That a 20" barrel?

I found a picture with a LSS with the longer forearm but with a adjustable buffer tube that your talking about, but didnt see anything on the website saying something about it. So they have made it at one time.

Yes, it's a 20" barrel.

I own 3 LSS; one for a Savage LRPV 26", one for a Tikka T3 20" and my custom Savage Target action with a .300blk 20" barrel.

A pic of my T3 with a LUTH-AR
MDT LSS, Fixed adapter v2 and a not so common fixed buttstock LUTH-AR mba1 ( a PRS revisited)

Even with the V2 adapter (shorter than original) the LOP is too much for me.

I would like to get a chassis for my stevens 200, but its got a 24" barrel on it now and I dont know how that would look with the LSS

Coming out for the Ruger American Soon?

Yup, Its in the works.

Anything for T3 300 WSM action length?

That is the same length as a .308. So yes any of our short T3 chassis will work. Just make sure to use a metal .308 magazine and not Polymer as the feed-lips will need to be bent out for the wider diameter cartridge.

I would not recommend that. I would cut the barrel to 18".
If you do not want to do that, the LSS-XL would be a better option :)

Bit of a revival of an old thread. Is anyone familiar if the Remington 783 and the Marlin XL7 have the same footprint?

Id love to drop my Marlin into another MDT Chassis as I love the Tac21 on my Savage 10TR

I have a Rem 700 Light Tactical Rifle with a 22" factory tapered fluted barrel, short action chambered in 6.8SPC it came with a blind mag B&C stock.

While I really like the stock I have never had so much trouble inserting ammo into a bolt action rifle before it drives me freaking nutz.

I've been doing a lot of checking around for factory stock mods for hinged and/or detachable mag bottom metal or complete replacement stock options due to pricing I keep coming back to the MDT LSS stock system.

Chalk your rifle pictured above is the first pic I have found that has almost exactly the same components I want and barrel configuration as mine.

I'd appreciate it if you could take and post a pic or two of how the barrel fits into the barrel channel.

Have you ever weighed this combo I would be very interested in knowing what the finished rifle comes in at?

Also would you prefer the new longer forend LSS XL model over this one?

MDT will my 6.8spc rounds @ 2.325" - 2.33" OAL fit into your 223 mags?

I see that there's an out of stock option for the Ruger American short action - do you know when these will be available? Is it only in the LSS? Have they already been produced where I could see examples?

Does the V-block need to be bedded on the LSS? I noticed the LSS-XL says it doesn't.
