Will the LSS work with the savage bottom bolt release?

Unfortunately not. But we will potentially make something for this in 2014

So does that mean you can't remove your bolt? Or does the bolt just slide out if you pull it back too far?
The later doesn't sound ideal.

Yup bolt just stays in on my 10 FCPK . Take 2 minutes and take off yours and see for yourself depending on what model you have. YMMV

my first build on one, 308 bench mark

I'd like to see a Mk II version with a 2 - 2-1/2" longer fore end to accommodate 24-26" barrels if possible. Other then that, I'm seriously considering putting my Savage Predator Hunter in .243 in one of these if I can guarantee proper feeds from the .308 Mag.

As I mentioned above, a piece can be added to place the bipod further forward to better balance with a longer barrel.

LSS for R700 Long Action
LSS for Savage Long Action
LSS for Mossberg MVP
LSS for Tikka T3 (Almost complete)
LSS for Remington Model 7
TAC21 for Tikka T3
