We are pleased to announce the release of our MDT Skeleton Rifle Stock.

This buttstock is made specifically for our TAC21 chassis, but will also work on the LSS with the fixed stock adapter. This buttstock is shorter than the Magpul PRS, and we are also shortening the fixed stock adapter, so this will be a better option for those who have the LSS and want a shorter LOP. Note this buttstock will not work with our HS3 or LSS-XL chassis.

MSRP: $289.99

Version 2 now shipping.

WOW, I think the PRS is no longer on my shopping list!

Is it made of polymer or aluminium?

Is it only compatible with mdtac chassis, or it can fit chassis and stocks from other manufacturers that uses PRS stocks?

thanks

I have both the TAC21 and the LSS stocks with PRS. The reason to use the PRS (precision rifle stock) is mainly because it has a flat bottom, which allows you to rest the stock properly on a shooting bag. So, while I very much like the look and features of your new stock I'm afraid that you've missed the boat on one of the most important aspects of what makes a precision butt stock. Of course, it could be very easily fixed with just a minor redesign.

I suggest you look at some of the skeleton designs from other makers of precision stocks, Dolphin for example, to see what the current state of the art is. They all have a flat (horizontal) bottom available.

I will also be one of the first customers for this stock if you see fit to make it usable on a shooting bag.

What provision for sling/monopod mounting is there on this new stock?

Can a rail be added to the bottom of the stock, will there be a sling swivel stud and/or flush fitting swivel cup?

How could one make this foldable? I am thinking along the lines of the cadex chassis? Also I agree with the idea that a place for a rear monopod would be a good feature. All that being said it looks seeexy!!!

The new Skeleton Stock fits by way of a Tac21 end cap, so how would it be compatible with the Law Tactical folding adapter? Perhaps MDT will offer a folding version of the Skeleton stock in die course.
