i think the 10% should be for everyone here on the site that are members. We all share the same passion and Iam sure many have a loved one or have lost a loved ones overseas at some point in there lives. Hey on a $1000.00 its 100 bucks . Maybe you will get 50 clients instead of a chosen group oof maybe 20. Iam sure vendor and member will all be Happy.

There should be a maturity check done with the security check when getting your PAL.

I should have been more specific, I'm talking about my partner. Also I forgot to state that just because law requires us to stay out of it that doesn't mean we always will. All of us have a different part to play. I risk my life so that others that aren't armed won't have to. We all take risks here. And by the way, the reason I'm always blown away about how we are never included in SFRC's special military and Leo discounts is because lots of others do. We have an IOP program in place with Korth, that seem to have no problem with it. Every store I walk into for the most part gives us a discount because of the job we do(ds tactical, supply sergeant, ect).

You don't have to justify yourself. You asked a legit question. Don't worry about trolls, especially ones who rip on security or medical personnel. If he is military (which i doubt he is), please remember that we are not all like that.

Don't take it the wrong way but have you been stabbed, draw a gun on someone, shot at people, watched people killed, watched people die in front of you, seen more violence/blood in a day than most people see in a life time, finished the day only to find out one of your friends didn't...until you have don't criticize the police/military/ems.

Well said. Most everyday people can't do cpr on a person who just went into cardiac arrest then go eat lunch. ALOT more goes with the job as well, PTSD, shift work, exposure to every disease know to man, high divorce rate, and always expected to do more with less by the employer. 15 years of fire/paramedic service has taken its toll. But I love it anyway!

Came from a country where "Genocide by Government" was part of life.

200$ discount plus all that money I save with the free coffee and food, I should be able to afford a new AR in no time. After all I did join this line of work for the perks.


I will however congratulate you on the journey you've made. Going across the country to meet with I dunno, 100k police officers just so you can provide an informed opinion must have been hard work! I think you should be entitled to the discount just for that. :)
