IOP Pricing for Sig Sauer, NEA AR15's and Colt Canada MRR's

I always cringe when I see these discounts offered to first responders and military. The inevitable self entitled #####ing is soon to follow. Think about it. 10 % is not a huge amount. It is more of a gesture of appreciation for those who go running into the storm instead of filming it on their I phones from a safe distance. There are plenty of job openings in these fields for those that feel they are being slighted and want that 10 % discount. Thank you SFRC for your generous gesture.

This is the truth, I agree Cerakote, I always thank the first responders, and if I hear people say fire or break in at such and such I tell me, don't go, don't interfere, you can get in the way and get arrested, stay home, no one listens

Feel free to sod off. Those "thugs" live out the worst day of everyone's life. Every dead SIDS baby, every life crushed by drug addiction, every suicide, every ###ual assault, every family fight where your heart is crushed as you find a toddler cowering under their bed. These "thugs" do the things you couldn't even attempt on your best day, you keyboard coward.
 
No more bashing folks, that goes for people on both sides of the fence. I'd hate to see people get infractions for stupid comments.

There are good apples and bad in every basket, police or military or janitors or fishermen. I think the vast majority of people do the best job they can, (exceptions of course, like maybe my Tim Hortons cashier :p)
Especially when they understand that they have more power and responsibility than the average person. They have to make decisions we cannot and shouldn't have to. I think 10% pales in comparison to what they have to do sometimes, in thier respective lines of work.

True....but you can't discount the tendency for people who have a temperament and tendency towards bullying/power-tripping to gravitate towards occupations that naturally allow one to get away with that behaviour. I've know enough Corrections Officers who fit that designation who then use their 'authority' to power-trip, because they have a disproportionate amount of control over those in custody.....and I doubt that the Police Forces are any different, in fact, more than a few Corrections Officers I've known have only gone to Corrections when they couldn't get into a Police Force. Quite a number subsequently WERE accepted...and quit Corrections to pursue Police work.

THAT is true....even for those who take their responsibilities seriously. The average 'Joe Public' has absolutely NO IDEA what those in Law Enforcement (and I include Corrections in that category) face on a daily basis....it can be one of, if not the most negative environment one can work in. Perhaps that's why many in those fields draw from their coworkers for their personal friendships....because only those who've had shared experiences will truly understand....what you go through...and the personal consequences one faces...in terms of how the job alters one's person and personal life.
 
I qualify for the IOP but to tell you the truth I find the EE cheaper. The IOP is nice for those who are OCD and need a brand new gun :p I do really appreciate the very kind gesture and in no means criticizing the pricing.

Just pointing out that no non Mil/LE CGN needs to complain about these deals when the have plenty of good ones in the EE.
 
I believe most IOP pricing is suggested by the manuf or distributors themselves? Don't get pissy with sfrc. You want the discount? join the army, cuz you know, that's what we all active/former sworn-in folks are in it for. The DISCOUNTS.
 
Just wondering. Are you getting any Sig LDC's in and does the discount apply to that pistol. Caution. Money is burning a hole in my pocket. Might need a nice lady medic.
