IPSC EC member blows a gasket

doesn't help, remember a few of us are already banned

There was a question about a spectator stopping the COF due to an unsafe condition, such as a hiker coming over the berm, or other such scenarios. Vince kept saying only range officials can stop the COF and that was basically his entire argument - ie, he kept regurgitating the rule book.

No one disagreed with him on what the rule book says about who can stop the COF.

Unregistered (Jeff on GV) argued the point that if the CRO/ROs didn't see it (potentially focused on the shooter and not the entire shooting area as a possibility) then someone has a duty to stop the COF. Other people chimed in that a friend of the shooter could notice that he was having a bad run and stop the COF in order to get him a reshoot, or similar scenarios. Jeff's point was the safety aspect and he argued directly with King Vincent saying that the rules are correct, however, the rules are not the only consideration.

The end game was this:

You conveniently ignore the other example that I and others have brought up; or are you saying unless you see it, then it didn't happen?

You've made a huge issue out of spectators saving the world, yet you are unwilling to give real life examples. In IPSC, we deal with facts, not hypotheticals.

I'm happy I will never have to shoot with you. How long I have shot IPSC for is irrelevant here.

Very nice. Do you talk to your mother with that mouth?

Yes, your IPSC experience is indeed relevant. When I make statements here, people are aware of my experience and credentials, which are also available in my Profile. If you want to be taken seriously when you challenge what I write, you should justify your comments by stating your experience and credentials, so that readers can draw their own conclusions.

For all we know, you might just be a 22 year old kid, with 25 minutes experience of IPSC.

whittle vinny's IPSC experience, ha, when was the last time he shot a major match or a local one for that matter. unregistered brought up a valid point, I've yell stop when not the RO on many occasions, mostly range malfunctions that the RO/shooter can't see yet. If someone does it to slimeball a reshoot for ther buddy, then they get the axe for unsportsmanlike

Exactly. And the competitor would not get a reshoot and the stage would be scored as shot. Simple but some people made a huge issue out of it.

Those comments were the last ones from Unregistered .. There are several pages of debate about it, most people for yelling stop in the event of a potentially hazardous situation but our friend Vincent could only repeat the rules for the most part.

IDPA RULES! (yelling while running naked in the yard) we are the best ! IPSC is for airsoft! Trollllolololololololololololol!!!!

I you want to hurt this little troll and and the self serving leader ship in IPSC. it is simple. STOP giving them your money. Period. Stop arguing with Vinny the troll. If he has no platform to spew his manifesto and personal attacks. We give him the power and we can take it away.

As for IPSC Canada switching to USPSA that is not going to happen. If enough clubs around the country start to participate in uspsa matches we could have a argument for area 9.

But we all know us Canadian`s would rather ##### then do some thing about it.

Just my 2 cents

I think their areas are based on numbers not geography, we barely have enough members to form one area...

I remember seeing a USPSA membership breakdown by state and we have more IPSC shooters than Area 3 (1692), 7 (1545), and 8 (2140) Ontario also has more than NY (712) it was kind of interesting to see the break down.

As for Vince I remember when he first go involved in IPSC and how he worked so hard to move the sport forward. Unfortunatly we've seen it over and over again when someone stays too long in a position of (semi) power where the new ideas have dried up and they've lost touch with the masses.

And I think his bottle of milk has passed its expiration date....

Kind of ironic, eh?

Madness (aka Homoness) is ###??

Jeez, I know for a big guy he moves pretty lightly on his feet, but really??

All kidding aside, Madness is one of the few young gentlemen who can stir the $h!t almost as well as I can. I admire him for that. He says what he thinks, and he is usually right. Too many people ignore idiots like V.P. and just let it ride. They need to be reminded when they act stupidly. Some more than others..................

I would PAY to see V.P. use such language in person to Madness and all the other people he so cowardly attacks on the other end of the keyboard. I am pretty sure that will never happen.

Our executives in IPSC use language to our members like that, and it will be let go. Give a guy a $5 gift card for having a crap match, and you get banned from your Region. What the ????????
