I belong to target sports in gormley ontario. I have the black badge course for CDP. We are supposed to practice thursdays. but there are only 1-4 people practising at any given time. We are supposed to start doing IPSC or IDPA, but, sadly in Target Sports looks like everything you want to do or try to do is a "no no". Primarily because the Ontario CFO frequently visits the range. And every time he visits there is a new policy to make the CFO happy. To the point we have 2 ranges, usually I shoot in the smallest one because I like to shoot fast and now I cannot use that range by myself there has to be at least 2-3 people using it as well, otherwise, you have to shoot in the larger range.
Being a member of target sports can I go and do the black badge course or IDPA in another club?
Today I visited the Frontenac Gun Club in Kingston and I cannot describe how good it felt to see members carry their guns from range to range without being harassed by someone telling you what to do because the CFO tells them.
