IPSC in Abbotsford BC

Hmm well I'll see who shows up, but then maybe schedule one for a weekend coming up
 
Is any one still checking this thread?

I live in Langley and have a CZ in the mail. I'd really like to get in on this. I can volunteer my time if needed. I usually end up being the RO when I coach young kids at biathlon so I have some experience with ranges, people's behaviour, anal sense of safety etc.....

With the change in the rules allowing for qualifiers in different areas on the same weekend scheduling issues can arise.

Normally I would attend a northern event without question but I am hearing that there may be more clubs going with the Q on Saturday + a redneck match on Sunday. In that case my preference would be to travel to attend a double qualifier. :rockOn:

Only time will tell.

Me too. I wouldn't hesitate to fly down and shoot a double Q at Abby. Cheers to you Slavex for all the time and effort to make this happen. Pics look great.

Dont have black badge course done yet, but very interested in all of this. If you schedule a meeting for a weekend, i'll be there for sure.
 
Lock blocks are back berm supports. We've got CFO approval to shoot into side berms where there is dirt. Also ground impacts are allowed.
For those wishing to help out we still need to have a working meeting. Obviously anyone who wants to be helping with this will need to be a member of IPSC BC. Which means some of you will need to do your Black Badge course, something I'm trying to out together at Abby as well.
Weekend meeting is out right now due to my work schedule. Looks like we might have to wait until the new year to address this.
 
I got interested in abby after looking to sign up for a carbine course being held there next year, Now I'm looking at becoming a member. I've also got an m&p in the mail and 2000 rounds to put through it, so I'm even more interested if this is at abby. Still would need to do the bb as im just getting into ipsc, but having something like this semi local to me sounds great.

Great work out there Slavex. I am a member elsewhere but I am considering Abby now on top of that. Do you need to be an IPSC BC member (with BB) to come out for these Friday skills events? If so, I would understand. Safety is important for everyone involved. I don't have my BB yet. Looking to take it ASAP.
