ipsc match scores analysis system

I didn't meant to accuse you. The reality is what we make it, yours not the same as mine, that is all. I was just trying to say that one can never create a completely ideal something, but in most case creating a good enough does work.

So, please take it easy and thanks again for showing me your system. You are still welcome to use this system, but if you don't want to, let's be done with it. No need to be frustrated with each other at little things like that.

so you accuse me of whinning, pointing out problems that don't exist and de-motivating you.

its obvious that you think im trying to sabotage your work or something.

you asked for input and I gave it to you. sorry im just pointing out the reality and not like everyon else who just seems to parise you. I even gave you access to see the site I did to try and help you.

I couldn't care less at this point.
Good luck on your site and don't feel upset if people aren't throwing thanks you way when you are done.

We're ISO and CMMI...and do most of our work for the Military (so add export restrictions and ITAR)

I'll let you guess how much QA process we have to tolerate...err...I mean embrace

Nooooo........ anything but that.. hahahaha.. you have not seen the QA team from hell until you deal with and ISO and FDA regulated QA team.....

New features added to the web site:

* overall and per-stage scores for combined divisions (e.g., all, standard+production)
* show division marker in overall and per-stage match history for selected competitor(s)

Some more updates:

* 2010 results are in
* it is now possible to see stage results right at the overall results comparison page

Also, if anyone is interested to add results from the club matches or other sections, please let me know.

Another small update. This time added links to the match videos to most of the pages. There is a few videos from Ontario matches on Youtube and I'll link them in in a next few days.

This thread is starting to remind me of my last Software Devel Team meeting

Just wait until the PM's and QA people get involved.

Hahaha, I'm sooooooooooooo glad I'm done with that... 15 years of dealing with investment bank IT regs was enough, I'm enjoying my retirement... day trading, all the way :) :)

It is now possible to login into the system using the same user and password as for IPSC Canada, IPSC Ontario or IPSC NB web sites.

In addition, results for the Montreal Indoor Challenge 2010 are uploaded into the system along with about 60 videos from the match attached to the stages.

The IPSC Stats web site now showing an approximation of the hits (basically break down of As, Cs, etc) in overall and stage results much like in USPSA match results.

Information about hits is also being shown in historical views, such as competitor overall history and historical comparison between competitors.

Because IPSC match results only publish total number of points for each stage there is not enough information to retrieve the actual hit breakdown, so the system is making a guess what hits are for given stage. The guess is good enough to be used to track accuracy and it is worse when competitor is dropping lot of points on a stage.

You can follow notifications on the added match results on Twitter and Facebook.

To help track accuracy, the overall results history for selected shooter is now showing a bar chart for the percentage breakdown of A, C, D, M hits in a few last matches:
