Holy snappin' arseholes!

I'm not convinced I can carry around all that ammo!

Well, be glad you don't have to worry about flying with it (and trying to fit within a 5kg limit) ;)

I ordered another 2,000 rounds from KanadaKid today, thinking ahead to the Nationals...

Where can I find the rules for the shoot-offs? Appendix E only has the ladder of who's going against whom...

any one aware of updates to the official list and other stuff that was to come out early July?

shooting course

regarding the shooting course, I think that waiting until registration day is a bad idea. Now I haven't talked to the match organisers, and probably the poor guy trying to create squads and schedules will curse me. But if you want to take the course, you should probably contact the match organisers, which one I couldn't say, and let them know. If they are still working on the schedule, they may be able to shuffle people around so they have Wednesday or Friday off. And follow the instructions to sign up for the course, so that if there is any communication between sinnsyk and the match they can confirm that you are taking the course and the day.

I don't know. Meaning no disrespect to anyone, I think that if you're at the nationals to shoot the nationals, then you are at the nationals to shoot the nationals.

The match organizer has enough on his plate without trying to accomodate someone else's side income generation plans.

having the opportunity to train with someone like Henning should not be missed. His coming up to the match and offering us some training time is a valuable bonus, for those that can make his course.

True, and on reading it, I think I phrased my last post badly, apologies to Henning.

My poinst stands though. If you're there to shoot the nats, then you're there to shoot the nats. The poor bugger who is squadding the thing has enough on his plate.

He doesn't need to be trying to squad people around something they want to do that isn't actually competing in the nationals. The whole deal where you have to be available for the whole 6 days, regardless of when you're shooting/working applies to shooting courses, as well as work, kid's volleyball finals, lawnmowing, anniversaries, bridge club tournaments, holidays, etc.

(in my best confuscious voice) Ah Bartledan, are you afraid young Musky hunter will take the course on Wednesday and use his newfound Jedi knowledge for evil? ie: whupping your butt. :)

Hey, if he whups my butt, drinks are on me! He's a really nice guy, hard worker, and he deserves it.

Oh, and whipping my ass isn't "powers used for evil". Whatever else I am, I'm not the good guy :)

I might even put Tritium in a headlock and drag him kicking and screaming out drinking with us.

I only met him once, but he does not seem like the type of person that would need his arm twisted to have a few cold ones;)

...just finished off the scoresheets...this is going to be one hell of a match. :)

If you haven't signed up yet...I suggest you do it now. I expect that people will be talking about this one for a long time...

See everyone there...
