I thought the constitution was never voted upon, therefore at best is a set of guidelines, or did I miss something?
 
Oh' yeah, got my ballot today. They must have used the super speed canoe this time to get to my little back water in record time.

This constitution is from 1996. There was some chattering at the 2008 AGM about how it was ratified...but no one could provide any records so...this is still the current constitution.

We did have it on our actions list to update it...and I will admit that I'm the bottle neck at this point...but...the plan is still to have a draft of the new constitution done before I retire from the Board at the end of this year (yiiippppeeee!!!!!!) Oops...sorry...that one slipped out.

It will have to be reviewed by the BOD and the Committee we set up this year (for the Constitution) and placed on t he website for the members to review...and if all goes well it will be voted on and accepted at the next AGM.

Until that happens...the version that we have on the website is the current constitution (or it wouldn't be there)
 
yeah, I know, I'm in BC dude, we are waiting for it to be posted here, which was supposed to happen once you guys got your SitReps

If the people on the ballot want to post their bio here...all the more power to them. If someone else posts it...I'll ask the mods to remove it...and I'll be having a chat with the offending party.
 
Boy oh boy... did this ever go tame!

You guys must feel that all the candidates would be worthy of the positions!

I will say that I have had the pleasure of working with / shooting with / hanging out with all of the candidates over the years. All of them have a passion for the sport we all love.

I admit I have not decided how I will vote yet. I am trying to look at the dynamics of the board based on the different possibilities of who gets in. Kind of a "How well will the board function with Bud, Josko, ?###X?, ?###X?, and ?###X?."
I am feeling that is pretty important. On an individual level, I could easily vote for any one of the candidates.

Don't you mean.. which one of the board members will quit if "###X" gets voted on..
