Ipsc shotgun under attack?

And we love ya for it! So does Waterford and Barrie, but the names was the small point. the loss of practical targets and scenario based stages was really what I was trying to point out.

Understood.

I think that people who are interested in Shooting sports should be thankful for IPSC being the largest and most well known of the sports.. It takes the brunt of the pressure from the ANTI crowd to change... and it has changed. These changes have resulted in the spawning of a number of other organizations that cleave closer to the original vision of IPSC.
These other organizations remain mostly unknown outside of shooting sports circles.

Let IPSC bear the brunt of the anti Lobby.. and bend under their weight.. while other sports remain untouched.

That is such a crock.

It is D.V.C. Not P.C.

I think the fact that Fatties can carry twice as many rounds as me and still be in the same category is what really needs to be looked at...Damn.

Folks, please voice your opinions to your RD. (The USA region RD is against these changes, fwiw.)

And, please consider that this isn't an issue on the specific points of any particular rule. It is more of a fundamental attitude of doing business.

Don't let IPSC become more and more PC in the name of larger promised growth. That is just the wrong path to be on.

The correct path is to stay true to the fundamental aspects of the shooting sport.

Good stage names make it easier to remember stages from various matches. You mention the area 8 clown and everyone knows what you are talking about, no one remembers what stage number it was.

Now that they have those CNC paper cutters for scrapbooking couldn't we split that hobby into an open and standard division???

Darkshadow can you provide a link to that quote?

I assume it is on GV>

Edit.................it was forwarded to me.

The complete and utter gall.
