Is he a shooter or would you pass?

So is this deer a shooter or would you pass him up and wait till the rut is on to maybe try and find a bigger one (and yes, they are there). A friend took these pics last week.

I'd shoot it. That may be a medium Alberta deer but that's pretty big out my way.

I think there is a little problem here with the guys from Ontario.
From what I see , the deer is a Mule buck, and if they came all the way out here to shoot a trophy buck, well, there may be lots bigger.
However, if it was the last day of the hunt?

Myself, I am not a horn hunter, but have seen lots of big mule deer over the years.
That one is a good deer, but nowhere near book, IMHO.
The antlers don't come far enough passed his ears if they were flat.
I'd drop the pin on it unless there was a spiker with it!
