Is it worth getting a 22-250???

ill sell you mine 1 year old weatherby lam stainless beutiful gun i actually love it just dont use it and now want to generate some cash for a pistol and 45/70 lever / only 30 shots through it
am in a rush for work but ill post pics tonight

Probably the best reach-out-there coyote cartridge in a small-bore.
Back seat only to a Swift or 243/6mm IMHO.

Not far behind the Swift at all, 100fps or less with most bullets and somewhat easier on barrels. Nothing beats a good 6mm for hammering yotes at long range, though. The heavier, higher BC bullets carry more energy and buck the wind better than any .224 bullet can.

That said, I have a Savage 12FV in 22-250 in my safe and it is turning out to be a fantastic tack driver with 50gr. V-max bullets.

I have both the .223 and 22-250...For yotes use the 250 as they can be hard to put down at times and the extra power always helps. The .223 will be used only on gophers and such.Its not that the .223 wont knock down a yote,its just at 400 yards the extra power always helps out a bit.

I say buy the 22-250 and never look back...:)
