I just received my HP9-1 870 copy. Got her all degreased and oiled up and the range test is planned for this weekend
If this is used as a camp gun, truck gun, occassional partridge/bunny gun, busting clays with friends, would it be worthwhile to have the barrel threaded so that it can accept Remington chokes?
How about rifled chokes, would it improve the accuracy or is it just a waste of money?
I'm planning on having a gunsmith install Wilson Trac-Locs on her next week so if choke tubes are worthwhile, I'll get him to thread the barrel at the same time.
