Is owning a .444 Marlin and a .45-70 Guide gun redundant??

What model is the guide gun with the stainless and synthetic? I've been looking for a synthetic one, and can't find it on the Wholesale website!

I would stick with the .444. Nice walnut, curved lever, no X bolt safety, it looks like a rifle. The guide gun (I owned one) is chunky not balanced well and if it is ported, a PITA and the ears. The short barrel does effect performance also. Of course this is only my opinion...
