no problem with a 444 and a 45-70....I can't say much...I have two 45-70's...
the 444 shoots a bit flatter(?) than the 45-70...but that's won't show up in the field...the only really ugly 444 is the original '64 version with the 24" tube and Monte Carlo stock......that style of butt stock on a lever gun is worse than that style of buttstock on the Browning B78............FUGLY..X 2
