50 caliber would work nicely,go ahead get your buddy to shoot it,but post when and were so we can come and enjoy the hunt, and the man hunt after the shooting, and the subsequent anal raping in prison, should be good entertainment.

No.. I checked TO bylaws and it is legal to shoot that coyote if:

1) it's wearing a red or blue bandana
2) the shooter is wearing baggy a$$ jeans, a football jersey, cornrows, and a baseball cap twisted around.
3) the coyote insulted "yo momma" and needs a cap in its a$$

The shooter must also hold the firearm at a 90 degree angle and shoot blindly while yelling "Get some" at top volume..

Hope this helps

I'm not a troll buddy, so easy on the soap box speech. Although it was a well crafted speech I will admit.

I wasnt aware of that bylaw since I never had the need to fire a gun in Toronto

Nice 3rd post......

You live in Toronto (bannville central) and you need to ask whether you can take your rifle out for a stroll on a Sunday afternoon puppy dog hunt down the Don Valley Parkway?

I'm voting for troll.

Call Mayor miller and ask him if he wants to ride shot gunfor you.

"...hunt coyotes on someone else's property with a small game licence..." You need a wolf/coyote game seal in some WMU's too. And a licence to possess the hide out of season.
"...wasn't aware of that bylaw..." Every municipality has it. Some rural townships do as well.

Stop being a drama queeen, you're probably from outside the GTA (hickville central).

It was a legitimate question, what if the coyote attacked your small pet, do you have the right to shoot it??? Knowing comrade Miller you'd probably be charged and thrown in jail. Thats why I posed the question, I just wanted to make sure

I'm voting for "wannabe moderator" with a pickle stuck up your @ss

Watching this one for awesomeness. Once again, someone from TO has come aboard to remind us that they are at the centre of the universe, and that the rest of us are hillbillies. Please, shoot that coyote dumbass. Upon entering prison, someone will send their shuttle up your "hershey way" in an attempt to find the centre of your universe.

For the rest of the Torontonians on this site, you're not all #######s, but with a population like yours, it seems a vocal one gets public a little more often than i'd like.

Coyotes should be protected because they aid with natural selection, attacking Chihuahuas and children left improperly supervised... jk

Well it is a pretty lame question, but hey cut the guy some slack. This forum is all about helping each other out. Most of you guys hunt so just take it for granted that everyone will be up on the basic laws, but obviously...NOT.

Hope that helps....TROLL ;)

Now go easy on him. You need to understand that there's a certain type in Toronto that once they get further than a mile away from a place to buy a latte they start shaking. At night once away from the artificial light they quiver in fear, soil their undergarments, start crying and want to go home.

Unless you want to kill it for food or entertainment why not just leave it alone? There is no livestock for it to bother where you are. If it cleans up a few stray cats grrrreat. As a matter of fact I have a few hundred or so black bears that are over running my area since the cancellation of the spring bear hunt that I'd like to send your way as well. Maybe if your buddy had daily encounters with 300-400# black bears tearing apart his garbage and scaring the crap outta his kids he'd have something to complain about.

Hahaha! If a dog can be killed by a coyote, it is not a dog, rather an exotic rat! Just leave the pets inside or go outside with them if you don't want them to be eaten.

Well Metro... I'll tell you one thing. Here in Hickville Central that coyote wouldn't have made it down that path a second time. Nor would we have to call in a news team to film the shock and horror finding of some wildlife in our back yard.:D
