Sadly, they are not stupid.
They talked about to give 1000$ per gun so, they made the banned list in consequence.
There are not a lot of gun on their list that worth less than 1000$...
And they know that only a bunch of us will take the $ and majority will keep it.
Imagine, they even banned 60-81-120 mm mortar , boys .55 , ptrs/ptrd... is there ammo for it on market lol ?!?
Government will have a ban at very low cost...and they knew it.
Why to pay 1000$ for a sks...
It will be on the next list ...and they will adjust price for...

I suspect you are correct in that assumption. Though with ar platforms out of the picture as well as the mini 14, the sky ma well increase in price as there are few other options

Can we please stop bringing to their attention what is not on the list

Like the Tavor or, Benelli MR1, HK SL8 to name a few. Look the RCMP have subject matter firearm experts that do this for a living. You really think the missed these Remember future OIC will get the rest.

i totally agree, they have firearms experts that do this for a living. those of us that keeps saying dont bring attention are fooling themselves.
