Nope. Not even close!
If you want to see true craftsmanship and quality take a look at German made M98's. South American contracts such as the Brazilian 1908, Argentine 1909, and Peruvian 1909 when in mint condition are absolutely amazing. Pre and early war K98k's including the Port contract ones are also spectacular rifles with an attention to detail not seen on any other military rifles. Some Czech made ones like the Persian contracts are also works of art.
The Yugo M48's are fine rifles but lack the fit and finish of other M98's.
