Is the .325wsm going to make it

I was guessing 14, maybe 15. With a comment like that I pray I'm right because if your any older then that, and if you speak like you type, I'd like to know in the intrest of public safety who issued you a PAL. You don't hold your .325 sideways with your hat on backwards and your pants hanging off your ass, do you?

325 wsm for ever

Tikka49, I don't think I've seen anything quite that juvenile in a long time. What's going on? You're sitting at your machine trying to come up with one liners you think are funny, but they only come once every 5 minutes? Or are you doing this from your grade 9 computer class and the teacher keeps peeking at you?

This thread is gaining some speed, down hill into a quagmire. If the self proclaimed champion of the new 8mm king keeps at it, he'll sink the ship for Winchester.
This guy is priceless.
Just do it Dave, you know you want to.......

Probably not. It's new on the block, and there are many good choices already on the market with cheaper ammo.
If I wanted more hitting power, my next step up from .30 cal would be a .338 or .375. The best thing about these new cartridges is what they do for the gun and ammo manufacturers sales.

I think the time of the 325 WSM has already come and gone. Lets be honest, if Canadian Tire and Walmart isn't stocking affordable factory ammunition for the calibre then it is destined to fill a small to medium market niche for hand loading components. Factory ammo at small retailing or specialty stores is never affordable.

I love the calibre - don't get me wrong... but we've seen these trends before and history, more often than not, repeats itself.

I really hope I'm wrong though.

So all you shoot is Winchester silver, Remington green and gold and Federal blue box?

That is a terrible manner in which to gauge the popularity of a cartridge. Ever see any .300 Weatherby at the average Canuck Tire? How about .338 or .375? How about 7mm-08 or .280 Remington? All popular. Whats affordable for hunting ammo? Lethbridge, Calgary, Bashaw, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Kelowna, Kamloops, Vernon, Salmon Arm, Vancouver, Quesnel, Vanderhoof, Prince George, Dawson City, Campbell River, etc. I can find .325 or .280 Remington for $40 a box. That is affordable for anyone willing to burn $50 a day in fuel to hunt.
Just saying.

I by no means need a .325 or believe it fills some void. I do think that it is a great cartridge (ballistically), and I have thought about buying one.
I dont think it is dead, nor do I think it will have more than 5 or 6 rifles chambered for it fairly soon. But I do think that anyone looking for a new big game gun that likes to gunnut a little would be silly to overlook it.
The .338 Fed will die before this one.

Does any one have a list of how many rifles are chambered in 325 wsm from each manufacture....I believe savage only has one, the model 16 bearhunter
