Is there a need for more Cdn made AR parts?

:D

What is the Lambda for?

How about some ideas on how to properly colour in the letters and engravings.

Very pleased with the Lower.
No Machine marks
- unlike another custom lower

I asked for a 6 digit serial # - it ended up right on the edge and looks off-center - Could it have been centered? I picked it though...

Last point, the coating is a little thin towards the back of the lower. The shiny areas are the thin areas. It is the same on both sides of the lower.

Overall it is what I had expected from a custom lower
One thing I forgot that was included is the anti-wiggle pin in the lower...very cool.

Yeah, sorry about that - originally we were only going to go with 4 digit serial numbers, so all of the engraving except for the number was already done at the time of machining that side of the lower, then at the very end they were put in to do the serializing once we had the final list.

Glad you like the eagle, Deutschland uber alles! ;)

Nice engraving and photos rivet.

The only issue I have with mine the the thickness of the left side pivot pin housing. The pin sits flush with the edge, instead of it being thinner and the pin protruding slightly on a forged lower. I find it more difficult to pop the pin out to swap uppers. It looks better this way though.

Eventually when my 3 year old is old enough he will have an AR with his Birthdate as the serial number. I think that is worth the price of admission alone. :) (and the Eagle)

Who has a tip on colouring an engraving?

I have a couple AR-10 LPKs... most of those parts work.... (I think)

FWIW that isn't a representation of an eagle, its actually a phoenix. Its a pretty common mistake, the upwards curl at the back of the head is the marker for a phoenix vs an eagle in historical representations. Little known and useless fact, the USA used a phoenix on its seal before changing to the eagle. Some US institutions still use the phoenix symbol, calling it an eagle out of ignorance.

Not that it in any way detracts from your rifle, I actually like the phoenix better for looks and feel cool factor. :D Note my avatar.

Again a very good job on the part of ATR!!

Rick, did Deb get a pink one or has BS (I think that'll be Shainline's new nickname) somehow weaseled out of it?
