Is there a shortage of .22 ammo everywhere?

You only shoot 500 rounds of .22LR a year? I'm around 10x that and with the shortage of specific brands for my picky .22LR handguns, I just bought 5000 rounds of 9mm and will be shooting that instead. My .22LR pistols will be safe queens until the market sorts itself out.

Same here….my 9's are getting a lot more use these days with the current price and availability of .22lr ammo

Same issue in Northern AB, tough to find quality .22 in decent amounts.

And .22 should always be bought in cases, not boxes

I must point out that such is not the case in the Bonnyville-Cold Lake region, in the north eastern parts of Alberta.

Also a mere one hour and a few minutes away is Prophet River. Lots and lots in their store too.
