I have two and Danny has one...so where are the others?

I did not know that you had two, so that makes 4 in Ontario unless they guy I knew had one sold it or it went out of province.

You have two, ###yglock has one and buddy I mention above has one. Thats 4, maybe the other two were captured by pirates!

You guys are lucky! I had been drooling over them when they first came on the scene, but thought they would never be in Canada. Unfortunately still can't afford one. Otherwise I would be fighting for the one in the EE.

Ask me by PM after July 5th. I got a crap load of em sitting in customs :(. Needless to say there ain't gonna be any more in Canada unless I can convince FN in Belgium to make some semi auto ones.

I thought the ones the states are getting right now are made in belgium.

I was of the same beleif that FNH was making them - as the only thing that FNMI was making was M16A4's, M249's, Mk46's, Mk48's and M240series guns.
I've been wrong before though -- and no doubt will be again...

They (FS2000 and PS90) are stamped both "FN Herstal Belgium" and "FNH USA, Fredricton, VA". I phoned Belgium to see if we could get some from them, and nope, cause they only make some of the civie parts there. They don't make the civie stock (receiver), fire control parts, etc. Only bolts and barrels I'm told. They produce the military stuff (FA) in Belgium, civie stuff is in Fredricton, VA :(

Now ask canada customs... "Nope, it's made in Belgium, an extra 7% duty please.", LOL! Make up ur mind!

What happens July 5?

I talked to the Crown, and the Minister of Justice, and no US export issues will be involved in the case. The guns are already in Canada, so that's the only issue.

Well there is some good news after all. Good luck with the case man

So what's the issue?!
Previous ones have been registered by CFC and have a FRT number (I assume). Therefore aren't they perfectly legal to import?

I guess since US law was broken I can expect this thread to be locked and everyone banned for talking about it?...:runaway:
