Is there such a thing as too much light ??

On the subject of 'Too Much Light' for indoor use; here is a setup I was playing around with on my Tavor. I mounted my Surefire Frankenlight, which is a 9P body with +1 adapter; a 12 volt light with turbohead and Malkoff LED tower. Absolutely blinding indoors, but worked great outside. I'm not sure when I'd ever need to do any long range night shooting but in the absence of night vision this would be the setup.

I am currently assembling pieces for a more standard configuration; G2 body, 9P head and tailcap with a Malkoff P60 warm LED drop-in.

That thing weight more than the rifle ???
I am having a hard time deciding if I would rather be shot by the rifle or made permanently blind by the light !!!

Weight is not bad but you sure don't want to get flashed at close range; she's a photon cannon

I would never use anything more than 100 lumens inside.
Mirror, pictures in the frames, windows and even the painted walls may blind You instantly when You are using too much light.
Outdoor is a different story, but inside too much light is your enemy for sure.
