Black rifle forum is on snobby side I agree. Not entirely but it is there. Mixed with a touch of errogancy. Why? Not one over there ever interested how accurate his black spetsnaz moddafokka rifle is. I never got educated comment or advice overthere. I also got an impression most black gun owners like their toys for how they look.
You are correct on some points. There are plenty of shooters in general on this site that qualify as "posers" in my opinion. Those who are only interested in how their toys look at the range would be some of them. Accuracy and the pursuit of accuracy are not necessarily the goal of black rifle shooters. Accuracy is still important and should not be over looked. For those who participate in the action sports such as three gun, there is no need for a .25 MOA accurate rifle. Hence the popularity of ergonomic high capacity(well they used to be) semi auto rifles. The inherent accuracy is more than adequate for the intended purpose. Speed plays a greater role than accuracy.
