ah... there is a reason I left Ontario. to many people with fuct up priorities.

I shot a moose once at 1500 yards.
I used my Customized Lee Enfield .303. I customized it by adding a 4x scope to it and cutting off the end of the stock.
I held 6" above the hump, and it dropped right ito the upper lungs, dropping about 10".
I know it was 1500 yards because my huting buddy said so. :wink:

yea well I saw todbartel shoot a goose @ 300 meters of elavation with a 410 shotgun, we have the oxygen mask to prove it :shock: :lol:
For the sake of argument 1 MOA at 1000 is 10 inches, give or take a bit.
If his .300 mag was zeroed at 300 yards, he would need about 26-30 minutes of elevation to hit at 1000 yards. 26 MOA is about 21.5 feet, 30 MOA would be about 25 Feet of hold over. :shock:

i dislike ontario and id love to move to alberta. funny how nobody has many bad things to say about out west except for some cities in BC. maybe ill be safe in the yukon :lol:
i love just sittin back and readin posts about people flaming each other and usually dont step in unless it needs to get goin again.
so to get things fired up again, why are Qc people "frogs" and why are ontarians considered pansies? i hear them both alot.
